Starstruck is a family owned and operated business led by local couple Jessica and Daniel Zula. Our highly trained staff provide a nurturing and inspiring environment and we make it our mission to ensure that every child feels at home.
Our affordable classes mean that you don’t need to compromise on a great Dance or Cheer Program for your child. With some of the best facilities Australia wide SDCA delivers everything under the one roof.
When you walk through our doors you will notice a difference! Our mission is not only to teach but to create memories, build lasting friendships and provide excellent customer service.
Our state of the art facility boasts 2 sprung gymnastics floors, tumble trampolines and a 12 metre airtrack for safe tumbling. We also have a dedicated room to host our renowned "TINY STARS" Preschool dance program, as well as 3 large dance studios, student change rooms and an onsite cafe!
Growing up, Jess spent countless hours at her local dance studio. She loved every moment and it was her dream to one day own a studio of her own.
The idea was born! A modern dance studio, run by dance professionals in a fun, family friendly environment.
Jess spent the next 10 years performing, teaching and gaining the experience needed to bring her dream studio to life.
Jess holds a diploma of dance and has over 20 years dance teaching experience. She has also spent 5 years based in the United States where she performed, managed dance companies and worked with some of the world’s best choreographers. Jess is thrilled to be able to pass on her knowledge and recreate the excitement and energy she experienced as a young dancer.
On her return from the USA Jess met her now husband Daniel whilst doing a personal training course. Daniel, a trained gymnast shared her passion for teaching and together they started SDCA in 2011.
Jess named Starstruck Dance and Cheerleading Academy after her very first professional show! Starstruck was a show that Jess performed in the United States. It was a collection of famous musicals from the 50’s 60’s 70’s and 80’s.
